Care Guide for Stretch Leather: Keeping the "Stretch" Lasting Longer

Yantai's "stretch leather" is made by incorporating elastic fibers, which endows it with both softness and stretchability. However, improper maintenance can easily lead to sagging and cracking. Mastering these key points can keep it as good as new:

1. For daily cleaning, use a soft cloth dampened with clean water to gently wipe away dirt, avoiding solvents such as alcohol and gasoline - they can damage elastic fibers. If oil stains are present, apply a small amount of neutral soap solution, let it sit for 10 seconds, gently wipe it off, and then use a dry cloth to absorb the remaining moisture.
2. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or near heating sources during storage, as high temperatures can cause elastic fibers to deteriorate. When not in use, hang the items on a wide hanger (for leather clothing) or lay them flat in a well-ventilated area (for leather goods) to prevent irreversible creases from folding.
3. Regularly wipe with a dedicated elastic leather care agent to replenish oil and maintain fiber toughness.
